Marching Band Picture Day
August 12, 2022
8:45 am – 11:00 am
Formal pictures for ALL Marching Band Members will be taken by Tri-Color Photography on Friday, August 12th, beginning at 9 AM at PT Stadium (old High School/current middle school).
EVERYONE should attend even if you are not buying photos. Photos will be taken of the whole band, each section, and each grade (8th, 9th, etc.). These photos are used in the Marching Band Yearbook, which is given (free) to all members at the end of the season Marching Band banquet.
Seniors! In addition to band-only photos, we will be doing a picture with the senior football players and cheerleaders around 11 am for the senior appreciation banner displayed at the stadium.
Picture day requires patience and good listening skills! As we move through the various groups, the students not being photographed will have some downtime. Unless otherwise directed, they should stay in uniform and keep instruments nearby to be ready when called. We have outlined below the intended order and the times each group should arrive. Please drop off your student a little early, dressed, and with the completed order form/payment. Keep in mind all times are estimates; the photographer is careful to take the time with each student and group to be sure we get great photos!
Individual Pictures Begin at 9 AM
- 9:00 – Drum Majors and Leadership
- 9:10 – Seniors
- 9:20 – Juniors
- 9:30 – Sophomores
- 9:40 – Freshman and 8th Grade
If you have siblings and want a sibling picture, the siblings can arrive together and take photos together.
Once finished with individual pictures, we will move on to groups:
- Full band (in the stands)
- Each section
- Each grade level starting with the 5th years, then Seniors, 11th, 10th, 9th, and 8th grade
Most members should be finished with photos by 11 am. Please try to be flexible with pickup time; we will post on the Band App that day when we are near completion.
Watch the Band App for updates in the event of inclement weather! We will make a call on pictures by 8:30 am.
All Marching Band members should arrive in full uniform, with their instruments. For members who store items on the trailer, the trailer will be moved to the stadium for pictures Friday morning.
Please bring a water bottle and a small snack as it’s a long morning.
Please arrive with a completed check paying for all photos. Do not forget to include SHIPPING costs with your payment. All pictures are mailed to you directly, so your order must have the shipping cost.
There are two forms for picture day. Both forms will be distributed to members at practice this week and posted on the website as soon as they are finalized.
