The PTHS Orchestra is comprised of violinists, violists, cellists, and double bassists in grades 9-12. There are no prerequisites for membership, however the majority of students started playing a string instrument in elementary school and progressed through middle school ranks to the high school level.
The orchestra performs annual concerts, local community events, and usually travels every two years to a national adjudication festival.
