Formal pictures for ALL Marching Band Members will be taken by Tri-Color Photography this Friday, August 4th, beginning at 8:45 AM at the Stadium.

EVERYONE should attend, even if you are not buying photos. Photos will be taken of the whole band, each section, and each grade (8th, 9th, etc.). These photos are used in the Marching Band Yearbook, which is given (free) to all members at the end of the season Marching Band banquet.

All Marching Band members should arrive in full uniform, with their instruments (no hat or gloves needed). Please bring a water bottle and maybe a small snack, as it’s a long morning.

Bring the completed order form and check to pay for all photos. Do not forget to include SHIPPING costs with your payment. All pictures are mailed to you directly, so your order must include the shipping cost. Order forms are available in the middle school band room; please remind your student to pick one up if they have not already. You can also print an order form, but the ones provided by Tri-Color are larger and much easier to fill out.

Picture day requires patience and good listening skills! As we move through the various groups, the students not being photographed will have some downtime. Unless otherwise directed, they should stay in uniform and keep instruments nearby to be ready when called. We have outlined below the intended order. 

Individual Pictures Begin at 9 AM

  • Drum Majors and Leadership
  • Seniors
  • Juniors
  • Sophomores
  • Freshman and 8th-grade

If you have siblings, they should go together for a sibling photo when the oldest is called.

Once finished with individual pictures, we will move on to groups:

  • Full band (in the stands)
  • Each section
  • Each grade level starting with the 5th years, then Seniors, 11th, 10th, 9th, and 8th grade

We should finish the photos by noon but may get done early. Please try to be flexible with pickup time; we will post on the Band App when we are near completion and ask students to contact their rides.

Watch the Band App for updates in the event of inclement weather! We will make a call on pictures by 8:30 am.
